Introduction to The Patriarchs
We know the stories of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (or at least we think we do)...they had some pretty crazy experiences (which I'm guessing I'll be reading for the next few days). In the introduction to the next readings Kuniholm reminds us that God worked in a big way using these three men. But they weren't perfect and they made mistakes. Their stories can remind us that "God's plan isn't thwarted by our mistakes".
That brings me so much peace and relief. That no matter how big I mess up, God's Plan is Perfect and He can redeem me! :)
